Getting to meet Ed

March 10th, 2011

At Welsh Conference 2011 in Llandudno I was lucky enough to go as  Youth Delegate on behalf of not only the Connah’s Quay Labour Party, but also representing the whole Alyn & Deeside Constituency.

During Conference I was extremely lucky to meet Ed Miliband, leader of the Labour Party. It was purely by chance when I popped out of the main hall to get some water and literally found myself walking straight towards Ed himself, who kindly stopped and posed for a photo with me.

I shall be posting a full report here on the Connah’s Quay Labour website after it has been given at the Constituency General Management Committee AGM meeting on March 18 2011.

I would recommend Conference to ANY Labour party member as it is a fulfilling and awarding experience.

It is yet unknown whether the Dderwen Deg pub that still stands next to Morrisons will be occupied again or whether it will be flattened to make way for more development,
